DAY 93 Los Angeles, CA. (April 29th, 2012)  Today I had dinner with my friend Judi at her home in Hollywood.  She told me about people in the entertainment business that she thought were really making a difference in the world.  Judi is an amazing person herself.  She started her own cause marketing firm and works with different charities and non-profits to communicate important messages on a global level.  She has always worked in the charity/non-profit world and has this joyful warmth about her that is so infectious. I am always inspired by talking with her but this conversation, in particular, got me going.  I want to keep my head on straight and always be aware of what is REALLY important.  As soon as I can start making a good living with music I sooo want to be able to focus my efforts on an important cause as well. I am and always have been concerned about world poverty.  I am concerned about poverty in the U.S. How can one of the wealthiest nations in the world have so many people hungry and/or living on the streets?  There has to be a solution to this problem and I would like to learn more about how to solve it.  Any ideas? Send ’em my way! I actually wrote a song about this on my first album.  It’s called: Te Cuento. Check it out below
